Tour of the Cinque Terre : train + boat (…but for those who do not like “floating” , we can only use the train)

HALF DAY Tour: Vernazza – Manarola
We go by train to Vernazza, one of the most enchanting villages of the Cinque Terre. We’ll visit the most important aspects of the history and life of its inhabitants, entering into the alleys, (“i carruggi” a maze of alleys typical of Ligurian villages) used by people to be safe from the invasion of pirates who infested the Mediterranean sea. From Vernazza we embark on the boat and while we browse we’ll discover the secrets of this land and understand why Unesco has classified the Cinque Terre in the list of sites to be preserved as a World Heritage Site.
After a navigation of about 20 minutes we’ll arrive to Manarola. An unforgettable promenade awaits us along the vineyards overlooking the sea. Images that will impress themselves in your mind and you will never forget
HALF DAY Tour: Manarola – Monterosso with tasting (Train + Boat or train only)
We leave by the train, to our destination Manarola; we’ll enjoy of an accurate visit with many stops to recount the miracle of the terraces, extending along the entire coast, to talk about wines and vineyards and to immortalize in our pics a landscape that, I am sure, will exceed all your expectations.
We will take the boat and sailing along the coast we can imagine a thousand stories that took place in these inlets and along the hills. We disembark in Monterosso and after a visit to the most populated and lively village of the Cinque Terre we will go for our tasting in a local cellar. Its certain prestige and old tradition will enchant you as well as its location and the wines produced by the vineyards winding in front of you.
FULL DAY Tour (by Train only)
Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore
A whole day dedicated to a paradise! Colors, atmospheres and magic get filled our eyes and soul. The tour is designed for those who do not want to miss anything of the famous Cinque Terre, to be able to say: “Yes man! I’ve been there and I’ve visited them all!
So, let’s start: I recommend to have a hearty breakfast because we start from Riomaggiore which we will explore from the marina ‘til to the panoramic walkway to capture the first breathtaking views of the day!
The local train will take us to Manarola in 5 minutes and we will discover this charming village crowned by terraces and gardens overlooking the sea.
As well as Corniglia, the only one of the Cinque Terre to stand on a rocky outcrop. Here we will stop for lunch choosing among the best spot you like and enjoy of an unforgettable flair before to catch our little train and “land” in Vernazza. Enjoying of its amazing dock area we’ll stroll around for tour in its narrow streets and we will understand why it is the favorite of most part of visitors.. At the end Monterosso: a long unexpected beach, which Forbes magazine classed among the 100 sexiest beaches on the planet, takes us to the ancient village, giving us a view of the entire coastline of the Cinque Terre.
